VANCOUVER — The biologist who advised Trans Mountain to block an eagle nesting perch on the company’s Westridge Marine Terminal property during construction says the cone was the best option for the eagles.
David Hancock, a biologist who has studied eagles in B.C. for more than 60 years, and his colleague biologist Myles Lamont, also confirmed Thursday that the eagles are using the alternate nesting site they established for the raptors in the meantime. It looks like they are incubating eggs, Hancock said.
